This was another important milestone for Turkish aviation and thus, making Bayraktar TB2 the longest-serving national aircraft in the sky.
The Bayraktar TB3, which recently made aviation history as the first UCAV to successfully take off and land on a short-runway vessel, achieved a direct hit during its first test firing of the IHA-122 Supersonic Missile.

Latvia has signaled it could be the second European Union and NATO member state to acquire Turkish armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that have scored high-profile successes in the field, following last month's purchase by Poland.
