
The Azerbaijani army on Tuesday carried out drills with Turkish-made Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles.
Footage shared by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry included the drones' removal from hangar, bringing them to the runway.
The crew was seen examining and refueling the drones.
The drones, which took off as part of the exercise, detected and destroyed simulated enemy targets.

CAIRO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia signed a strategic agreement with Turkish defence firm Baykar Tech to localise the manufacturing of drones in the kingdom, state-owned Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI)posted on messaging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday.
Bayraktar TB3, the first UCAV in global aviation history to autonomously take off and land on a short-runway vessel, achieved a major success on the Distinguished Observer Day of the SEAWOLF 2025 Exercise. Taking off consecutively from TCG Anadolu cruising in the Mediterranean, Bayraktar TB3 UCAVs carried out two salvo strikes against land targets with direct hits.

A Turkish weapons maker said Monday that it agreed to donate three new armed drones to Ukraine in response to a crowdfunding campaign, after the aircraft were instrumental in Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s invasion.
