Türkiye has conducted a successful test of the Çakır cruise missile, demonstrating its capability to engage targets with precision from the Bayraktar Akıncı unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The Roketsan’s Çakır cruise missile, unveiled in 2022 for the first time, represents Turkey’s latest advancement in missile technology, designed for both land and naval target engagement. Equipped with terrain-following technology, it can fly at low altitudes, allowing for effective navigation over varied landscapes. Moreover, its real-time mission flexibility enables route updates, target changes, or mission cancellations during flight.
Weighing 275 kilograms, the Çakır missile houses a 70-kilogram warhead, available in fragmentation, thermobaric, or armor-piercing variants. With a range exceeding 150 kilometers and a cruise speed ranging from 0.75 to 0.85 Mach, it can engage targets with precision and effectiveness.
The Bayraktar Akıncı drone, renowned for its payload capacity, can carry two Çakır missiles on its external hardpoints.
Muhteşem ikili, harika sonuç 😍 AKINCI, milli olarak geliştirilen Çakır Seyir Füzesi ile gerçekleştirdiği test atışında km uzaktan deniz üstündeki hedefi tam isabetle vurdu. Tebrikler BAYKAR & ROKETSAN 🚀🇹🇷

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Baykar’s unmanned fighter aircraft renowned for its unprecedented achievements in global aviation history, has successfully completed a test flight focused on smart fleet autonomy. During the test conducted in Çorlu, KIZILELMA prototypes PT3 and PT5 carried out a formation flight with an autonomous combat pilot, supported by smart fleet algorithms. This marked the first time in the history of global aviation that two unmanned fighter aircraft performed a close formation flight autonomously.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Türkiye’s first-ever unmanned fighter jet, developed indigenously and originally by Baykar, successfully completed the Aerodynamics System Identification Test in accordance with its test schedule.

The Bayraktar TB3 UCAV took to the world stage as part of NATO's Steadfast Dart 2026 exercise. Taking off autonomously from TCG ANADOLU's short runway, Bayraktar TB3 scored direct hits on surface targets with a dual salvo MAM-L strike during a live-fire exercise in the Baltic Sea, successfully completing its first operational demonstration abroad.
